Asefi Condemns Saudi Attack

TEHRAN, April 23 (MNA) -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi here on Friday condemned the recent suicide bomb attack in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh.

The car bomb attack on Wednesday killed four people, including two security officials, and injured at least 148.

 

The attack happened at 1400 local time (1100 GMT) near the General Security building on al-Washm Street in Riyadh's central Nasiriya district.

 

Asefi said that the attack was unacceptable, as are all acts of violence that threaten the lives of innocent people.

 

The Foreign Ministry spokesman also expressed his condolences to the victims’ families.
